THE UPS:
- I was introduced to several singers. My favorites were Esther Ofarim, Jawga Boyz (you gotta love that hick hop), and Colt Ford (hooray for more hick hop!!!).
- I opened up a Youtube account.
- One of the kids in my school sang "L'Accordeoniste" by Edith Piaf for the talent show, and I heard she was pretty good! (She's in the 9th grade now)
- I saw Frozen with my mom and stepdad.
- I saw Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa with my mom.
- The world was introduced to "What Does The Fox Say".
- MIDNIGHT MEMORIES. (I think I'm becoming a Directioner...)
- I turned 14!!!
THE DOWNS:
- Arik Einstein died.
- His death wasn't featured in People Magazine
- I never got to hear that girl sing "L'Accordeoniste".
- It's been 50 years since Edith Piaf died.
- It's been 35 years since Jacques Brel died.
- Kidz Bop covered "Gangnam Style", "Thrift Shop", and "What Does The Fox Say".
I've gotta say that 2013 was a pretty great year. Let's hope 2014 will be even better!
